The STEM & Tech Journey
My fascination with how things work extends far beyond my professional role as a Cloud and Systems Administrator. I am a lifelong tinkerer with a deep-seated passion for STEM. In my downtime, you can often find me building modern computer systems or meticulously maintaining a collection of classic Macs and retro video game consoles.
This technical curiosity led me to achieve the Amateur Extra rank—the highest level of Amateur Radio Operator certification. Whether it’s navigating complex cloud architectures or fine-tuning a radio frequency, I thrive on the challenge of mastering technical systems.
The Great Outdoors & Photography
Living in Georgia provides a beautiful backdrop for my love of the outdoors. I am an avid hiker, frequently exploring the waterfalls and winding trails of North Georgia. I hope to take this passion global and explore trails throughout the world in the coming years.
I rarely hit the trails without my camera. As a digital photography enthusiast, I specialize in capturing the grandeur of landscapes, the mysteries of the night sky, and the high-octane energy of rocket launches.
Travel & Sports
I am a firm believer in the classic American road trip. I’ve set a goal to trek from coast to coast and experience the iconic Pacific Coast Highway firsthand. My travels often revolve around my love for sports; I make it a point to visit baseball parks and football stadiums wherever I go. While I enjoy many venues, Fenway Park in Boston remains my favorite to date.
Whether it’s Baseball, Basketball, Football, or Soccer, I love the atmosphere of a live game, and I am currently looking forward to attending my first F1 event.
Community & Service
Giving back is a core part of my identity. I actively volunteer through both company-sponsored and faith-based initiatives. This includes supporting the American Cancer Society and partnering with local non-profits that provide vital services to families in the community.
