Professional Project Experience

Operations SLA Verification Automation

To support a 50-client SaaS environment, I developed a monitoring ecosystem using Python and SQL to track KPI metrics in real-time. By integrating these scripts with automated alerting and a Postgres/Grafana backend, we achieved an immediate 80% reduction in manual Night Operations workload.

Month-End Process & Billing Automation

Building on previous automation successes, I engineered fully autonomous systems for high-stakes month-end processing. This included file verification and billing system counts that eliminated 100% of manual overnight intervention, ensuring seamless reporting for production clients.

Database IOPS Burst Automation

To optimize cloud spend, I designed a Lambda-based scheduling system that dynamically scales IOPS for Oracle instances based on a Cron-driven calendar. This strategic scaling reduced monthly IO bandwidth charges by up to 90% while maintaining performance during peak demand.

Observability & Matrix Mapping

I spearheaded the creation of a time-series database and a client-identifier data matrix. By building client-specific Dashboards, we simplified troubleshooting for cross-functional teams, effectively cutting incident response times in half.

Academic Project Experience (MBA)

My graduate studies focused on the intersection of technology and business strategy. I have led projects involving deep-dive financial analysis, accounting audits, and comprehensive marketing plans. This academic foundation allows me to approach IT infrastructure through the lens of business management, utilizing advanced Excel data mining and IT Project Management methodologies to drive ROI.

Continuing Studies

In addition to my AWS Solutions Architect – Associate and Cloud Practitioner certifications, I am currently expanding my portfolio into data engineering and AI. Current areas of study include Azure Fundamentals, Azure AI, and AWS Data Engineering.

Personal Project Experience

I believe in "learning by doing." I maintain a personal home lab where I host my own website on a Raspberry Pi (friedcircuit.com). My current research involves training AI LLMs, experimenting with camera recognition projects, and leveraging n8n for workflow automation. I am currently developing automated monitoring demonstrations to showcase these capabilities within this portfolio.
